Save Our Meteorological Office

In the House of Commons on Thursday, Anne raised the issue of the threatened closure of the Aberdeen Met Office. She asked for a debate on the matter. This was reported in the P&J on Friday. It's difficult to be absolutely sure what Jeff Hoon's answer actually means but I'm going to hazard it's a no. He did definitely say he would communicate Anne's anxieties to the Secretary of State for Defence. Great.
